GFPA partners with Carnegie Hall to spotlight jazz for UNITAR

GFPA is working with Carnegie Hall and the United Nations, through UNITAR, to continue a decades-long tradition of presenting celebrated performances that bring people together through music.

This special collaboration featured NEA Jazz Master Dee Dee Bridgewater, renowned bandleader and trumpeter Sean Jones, and an all-star lineup of alums from Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz. This celebrated ensemble is one of Carnegie Hall’s three national youth ensembles whose members, over the last decade, have thrilled concertgoers in 17 countries on four continents, serving as extraordinary musical ambassadors for their country and making connections with music lovers worldwide.

GFPA supports UNITAR and Carnegie Hall in achieving this project to highlight the value of the performing arts, arts education, and mentorship.
