United Nations Gala Concert 2021

The UNITAR New York Office (UNITAR NYO) and the Global Foundation for the Performing Arts (GFPA) are organizing a piano recital that will honor the work of the President of the General Assembly, the diplomatic and the UN staff communities under the message “Building Resilience through Hope”. This United Nations Gala Concert 2021 aims to recover from COVID-19, rebuild sustainability, respond to the needs of the planet, respect the rights of people, and revitalize the United Nations.
Presented with the support of sponsoring Member States, Costa Rica, the Republic of Maldives, the Principality of Monaco, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Rwanda, and the Republic of Singapore, this concert will celebrate music and a return to live performance.
“Building Resilience through Hope” will honour the work of the President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid and the occasion of the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations.
