The 19th Lyon International Chamber Music Competition 2024 (CIMCL) is dedicated to String Quartets. It is open to artists of all nationalities born after 23rd April 1989. The competition will award three major prizes (1st, 2nd and 3rd place), as well as a handful of other special prizes. The competition is set to take place in Lyon, France, from Tuesday 23rd April to Friday 26th April 2024.

The Lyon International Chamber Music Competition 2024 allows young musicians and ensembles to perform in public in front of peers and artistic programmers. They make them stand out by offering prizes, awards, concerts, professional opportunities and recommendations. From 2004, more than 1300 young artists, from 35 different nationalities, have taken part in the event, seeking to boost their careers and to reveal their talents.

The competition highlights the city of Lyon and the richness of the cultural activity of all her regional area to the artists enrolled and the world of music.
