The 2024 Xiamen international piano competition 2024 (XIPC) carries on the musical heritage of China International Piano Competition. Xiamen International Piano Competition 2024 is under the auspices of Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) and the municipal government of the city of Xiamen.

XIPC is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competition (WFIMC) and Alink-Argerich Foundation (AAF). Held every three years, XIPC aims to discover new talents and promote young people in the field of piano. XIPC cherishes the opportunity to bridge cultural and artistic exchanges between different cultures.

XIPC is very grateful for the support and cooperation from the Xiamen government and people in general. We believe XIPC will bring renewed energy and cultural life to the community and make Xiamen the focal point of artistic development in China.

The Xiamen International Piano Competition 2024 opens to pianists of all nations without discriminations, aged from 16 to 32 years inclusive (born between 26th Oct. 1992 and 25th Oct. 2008).

The competition will provide up to $1000 (or equivalent Chinese RMB) travel assistance to competitors accepted to the live rounds in Xiamen whose travels originate outside of Asia, up to $500 (or equivalent Chinese RMB) to competitors whose travels originate within Asia.
