The Women in the World Conference Program Committee is excited to announce calls for participation for our 2025 International Conference in Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia, June 15–23, 2025, in conjunction with the International Alliance for Women in Music (IAWM). On behalf of the 2025 CMS International Conference Program Committee, I invite you to submit a proposal for participation. All proposals are due no later than 12 noon Mountain Time on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

We have a great conference planned for you where you will be able to experience one of the most beautiful countries in South America. Our stay will begin in Bogotá, a bustling metropolis of over 7 million people, with cultural and gastronomic offerings that are the envy of any major city. Next, we will visit Medellín, also known as the City of Eternal Spring, where we will witness how positive leadership and tremendous vision have transformed a city once plagued by notorious activity into a safe and modern place to visit. We will taste the coffee of local farmers and visit a wide range of cultural locations where we will see how art has contributed to social change.
