A unique and prestigious event for the excellence and diversity of its programming, entrusted since 2012 to pianist Jean-Philippe Collard, and a universal event for its desire to reach out to all audiences and to spread classical music where it is not always expected, the Flâneries Musicales de Reims festival is the unmissable annual musical rendezvous for young and old, music lovers and the simply curious in search of emotion, relaxation, reverie, surprises, sharing and discovery…
Every summer, Reims transforms itself into a giant stage, hosting some 50 concerts in 30 different venues: Unesco World Heritage monuments, exceptional champagne cellars, the Hôtel de Ville festival hall, parks, gardens and the city’s many cultural venues.
The “plural” programming of Flâneries Musicales de Reims offers a wide panorama of the classical music repertoire: as many different eras, genres and ensembles for everyone to discover and enjoy. Young audiences are not left out, with a series of musical performances specially dedicated to them: “Les Petits Flâneurs”.
With a third of its concerts free of charge and a wide range of special offers, Flâneries Musicales de Reims makes music available to all.
