The Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres (AAPPAC) 2024 conference will take place from 4 – 6 September 2024, hosted by Taipei Performing Arts Center.

Focusing on the gaps and challenges in contemporary performing arts and venues, MIND THE GAP, LEAD THE PATH will open new and insightful perspectives for our participants.

The panel discussions cover topics of integrating traditional culture with contemporary vitality, building social cohesion within cultural districts, realising sustainable visions and exploring the future landscape of the performing arts with Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Besides the exciting line-up of discussions, participants will get a chance to tour TPAC and Taipei Music Center, go to Xinbeitou to experience the essence of Taipei’s cultural and culinary scene, and also take up a variety of optional tours to different performing arts venues in Taiwan. Of course, participants will also be treated to a series of brilliant performances featuring more than 15 talented groups showcasing Taiwan’s unique characteristics.
