SUMMARY:Tsinandali Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Tsinandali Festival 2023 will be held from 31 August to 10 September. \n  \nTsinandali Festival is a Georgian non-profit foundation. Our primary focus is on promoting the language of music in the Region\, the crossroads of Europe and Asia.   In order to fulfill its mission\, Tsinandali Festival\, in collaboration with the Georgian government and generous private donors established the Tsinandali Festival at the historic Tsinandali Estate located in the heart of the Georgian region of Kakheti\, known for its internationally awarded wines.   The Festival draws some of the greatest performers\, conductors\, composers\, music scholars and artists from around the globe to Tsinandali.  The Festival is designed to create rare opportunities for young musicians from the Caucasus and the neighboring countries to explore the world of music and advance their musical education through professional seminars and masterclasses taught by some of the brightest names in today’s classical music.   The founders of the Tsinandali Festival include George Ramishvili (Chairman of the board of the Silk Road Group)\, Martin Engstroem (the founder of the famous Verbier Festival)\, and Avi Shoshani (the founder of the Verbier Festival and Secretary-General of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra).  The Tsinandali Festival was launched on the 8th of September 2019 with its first edition and will be held annually. \n  \nThe Tsinandali Festival 2023 is staged in the unique environment of Tsinandali. \n  \nThe contribution of Chavchavadze family to Georgian culture is truly invaluable. A quick glance at the XIX c. Georgia makes it clear that the visions and strategies\, which largely determined the development of the country had originated in Tsinandali. The mansion of the Chavchavadze family used to host discussions of new literary\, artistic and musical trends.
