SUMMARY:Stuttgart International Violin Competition 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Stuttgart International Violin Competition 2024 will take place from February 19 to 26\, 2024 in the concert hall of the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart and in the Beethoven Hall of the Liederhalle Stuttgart. \nViolinists of all nationalities who are not older than 28 at the time of the registration deadline are eligible to participate. Registration for the Stuttgart International Violin Competition 2024 is possible from February 1\, 2023. The registration deadline is July 31\, 2023. \n  \n24 young participants\n24 candidates who are no older than 28 at the time of the registration deadline will be selected by a specialist jury from an international field of applicants and admitted to the competition. \nselected expert jury\nThe pre-selection of the candidates\, the admission to the second preliminary round and the final as well as the selection of the winners is carried out by an international expert jury selected and appointed by the Guadagnini Foundation. \nprize money and support\nIn addition to prize money totaling 63\,000 euros and the loan of a valuable violin by the famous Italian violin maker of the 18th century\, GB Guadagnini\, the prizewinner is offered optimal support. This includes concert brokerage over the entire period of the three following years\, as well as membership in the leading online platform for networking classical musicians\, Klassikal.com.
