SUMMARY:Kronberg Festival 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Kronberg Festival will take place from 21 September to 3 October 2023\n \n  \nThe Kronberg Festival 2023 celebrates Pablo Casals and 30 years of Kronberg Academy \n  \nMusic for humanity! World famous performers\, top-flight talent and extraordinary ensembles are set to showcase all that music can achieve. They will honour the exceptional musician and peace activist Pablo Casals (1876-1973) on the 50th anniversary of his death and look to his simple message “I am a human being first\, an artist second.” This belief in the power of music has inspired Kronberg Academy for 30 years. \nTwenty-six concerts with music from across the centuries\, panel discussions\, exhibitions and public violin and viola masterclasses invite guests to join the celebrations at the Casals Forum and many other venues besides. \n  \nPatroness: Marta Casals Istomin \n  \nKronberg Academy Foundation \nThe threefold aim of the Kronberg Academy Foundation is to provide support for up-and-coming professional musicians\, to create a place for musical stimuli in Kronberg and to give people opportunities to experience the wonder of classical music. \nThe Kronberg Academy Study Programmes provide all-round musical training for exceptionally gifted young violinists\, violists and cellists. The Academy’s festivals\, masterclasses and many other public events give young musicians and music lovers from all over the world access to inspiring musical gatherings of the highest artistic standard. \nThe Kronberg Academy Foundation\, a non-profit organisation\, was founded in 2004 by committed music lovers with the aim of providing long-term support for the objectives of Kronberg Academy\, a non-profit association that was founded in 1993. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees enjoys the support of an Artistic Council that comprises key figures from the international music scene.
