DESCRIPTION:Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition 2024 \n  \nEnter before 1 August – Early Bird entry fee of £120 \nEntries after 1 August – Entry fee £135 \nClosing date for Entries – 15 September \nResults announced November 2023 \nStage 1 – 22/23/24 February 2024 \nStage 2 – 25/26 February 2024 \nSemi-final with Southbank Sinfonia – 28/29 February \nFinal with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – 1/2 March \n  \nThe Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition has evolved from its earliest days as part of Hastings Music Festival to become an internationally-renowned competition for young concert pianists from around the world\, attracting 360 applicants in 2021 across global online auditions\, 50 of which were selected to come to compete in Hastings. Their prize: the opportunity to perform with the brand new graduate orchestra the Royal College of Music Prince Consort Orchestra\, Patron His Serene Highness Dr Donatus\, Prince von Hohenzollern during semi-finals and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on our two-night final\, and to win a first prize of £15\,000. \n  \nEligibility for the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition 2024 \nCompetitors must be aged between 16 and 30 for the duration of the competition (22/02/2024 – 02/03/2024). 1st prize winners from previous competitions may not enter again. \nEntry is by VIDEO AUDITION ONLY \nApplication closing date: 15 September 2023. \nProgramme \nApplicants must complete their programme with full details and timings. All works MUST have their Number/Title\, keys\, opus or other classification\, movements and timings.
