The applications will be done entirely online. \n  \nOnline application : opens in October – November 2023\nApplication deadline : Wednesday 29 November 2023 12:00 (noon) GMT\nAge limit : Candidates are aged at least 18 and have not yet reached the age of 31 on 31 December 2023 (i.e. they must be born after 31 December 1992 and before 1 January 2006). \n  \nThe applications for Violin 2024 will open in autumn 2023. \n  \nAs the 2020 Piano Competition had to be postponed to 2021\, the following cello\, voice\, violin and piano competitions have also been postponed. Exceptionally\, the upper age limit for candidates for these sessions has been raised by one year\, in order not to disadvantage the young musicians already preparing. The normal upper age limit for the violin competition is 30 years\, effective again for the 2028 Violin session.

SUMMARY:Queen Elisabeth Competition 2023
DESCRIPTION:The Queen Elisabeth Competition 2023 will be dedicated to the voice. From 21 May to 3 June 2023 the best young singers from the four corners of the world will compete in Brussels. The rules are now available\, the applications of the candidates will open in November 2022. Tickets will be on sale as from February 2023. \nThe Finals of the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2023 will be held at the Center for Fine Arts / BOZAR. \nOne of the most demanding and also one of the most widely publicised international competitions\, the Queen Elisabeth Competition\, ever since its creation in 1937\, has established itself as a springboard for young violinists\, pianists\, singers\, and cellists on the threshold of an international career. The Competition aims\, above all\, to serve as an intermediary between those young virtuosos and the world’s great musical venues. \nSteadfastly committed to the project initiated by Eugène Ysaÿe and Queen Elisabeth\, the Queen Elisabeth Competition seeks to discover complete artists; it owes its reputation to a prestigious jury\, strict rules\, and unparalleled media coverage\, as well as to the friendly and enthusiastic hospitality offered by an entire country and its Royal Family. For the finalists\, one of the highlights of the Competition is their stay at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel\, which offers them an opportunity to spend a whole week studying\, without any external assistance\, a new work to be performed with an orchestra.
