DESCRIPTION:The Trasimeno Music Festival Association presents: \nThe 4th International Angela Hewitt Masterclass\, August 16 – 23\, 2023 in Perugia\, Italy\, in partnership with the Istituto Musicale Diocesano G. Frescobaldi.\nAngela Hewitt invites you to take part in her fourth International Piano Masterclass in beautiful Umbria. The chance to participate in a masterclass for a week with one of the most sought-after pianists in the world will be an inspiring event\, not to be missed. \nThe venue for the masterclasses will be the Auditorium Marianum of the Istituto Musicale Diocesano G. Frescobaldi in Perugia\, Corso Cavour 184. The masterclasses will be given in English. \n  \nApplications\nAll applications for active participants must be received by March 23\, 2023. \nActive participants – Maximum 10 (plus four extra for the last session to play just one piece). \nActive participants must be between 14 and 30 years of age. Any student under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. \nAuditors may apply at any time. \n  \nApplications must be sent by email to:\nmasterclasses@trasimenomusicfestival.com \n  \nAll students wishing to perform as active participants in the Angela Hewitt Piano Masterclass 2023 must submit recent (in the past 2 years) links to online videos of performances of two works from different periods. Auditors need not submit any links. \nAngela Hewitt will choose the 10 participants for the full masterclass and the 4 for the final session. All of the participants will receive notification of acceptance by email no later than March 31\, 2023.
