DESCRIPTION:WOMEX 24 – Manchester\, UK\, 23 – 27 October 2024 \nWOMEX – Worldwide Music Expo – is the most international and culturally diverse music meeting in the world and the biggest conference of the global music scene\, featuring a trade fair\, talks\, films and showcase concerts. \nOver 2\,600 professionals (including 260 performing artists) come together every October from 90 countries\, making WOMEX the leading networking platform for the world music industry. Its musical spectrum is unparalleled in the international showcase performance market\, ranging from the most traditional to the new global local underground\, embracing folk\, roots\, jazz\, local and diaspora cultures as much as urban and electronic sounds from all over the globe. \nWOMEX 2024 hosts 7 stages\, around 700 exhibiting companies\, 100+ speakers\, films\, an opening concert and an award ceremony across five packed networking days and rather short nights. \nWOMEX and its community aim to support and strengthen the role of culture around the globe and to spread its values through nurturing and promoting creativity and music. DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to announce that Classical:NEXT 2024 will be returning on 14-17 May\, and we cannot wait to bring you another exceptional edition of the event. We understand that many of you have been eagerly awaiting the news\, and we thank you for your patience during this time. \nOur upcoming edition will once again present a wide range of sounds and insights from the global classical and art music world – by the community\, for the community – including showcase concerts\, project pitches\, conferences\, the expo and various networking opportunities. \nAs always\, our focus will be on building connections and fostering collaboration within the classical and art music world.
