SUMMARY:International Summer Academy 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Mozarteum University is looking forward to a lively academy summer and invites you to the International Summer Academy 2024 in Salzburg from 15 July to 10 August. Participants can look forward to a summer of intensive masterclasses by top-class artists and teachers\, numerous public concerts and a colourful supporting programme. \nIn addition to tried-and-tested concert formats such as the Lecturers’ Concerts\, Studio Concerts and guest performances at Schloss Höch\, the week will conclude with a matinee on the Saturday of each course period\, at which nominated students will present their skills to a jury. Founded in 1916 by Lilli Lehmann\, it now offers masterclasses with outstanding teachers from the Mozarteum University and internationally renowned artists. The diverse program offers space for intercultural encounters and musical fine-tuning.

When you have successfully booked a masterclass/additional course\, you gain access to a list of addresses of possible student halls of residence and private accommodation options. DESCRIPTION:The 15th International Mozart Competition 2023 will take place from 3 to 16 February 2023 for string quartet and voice. \nSince its beginnings\, the International Mozart Competition of the University Mozarteum Salzburg is one of the great music competitions worldwide. Music by Mozart is at the centre of the competition and the aim is for the oeuvre of this genius to be constantly discovered anew by the young generation of excellent performers. Allow yourselves either as participants or as guests to be enchanted by the special atmosphere of Salzburg and share in the excitement and enjoyment of this renowned competition with festival character.
