The initial list with a total of 375 nominations has been reduced to three releases per category\, the finalists for 2024. The winner is chosen from this list of three finalists. SUMMARY:ICMA Awards 2023
DESCRIPTION:The International Classical Music Awards ICMA have announced the nominations for their Awards 2023\, celebrating the best musicians and recordings. This year’s nominations include many renowned soloists\, ensembles\, conductors and orchestras as well as a lot of young musicians\, many of them being first-nominees. A total of 391 audio and video productions (+14) from 117 labels have been nominated. To see the list\, just click on our Nominations button\, which will lead you to lists sorted by labels or categories. \nTo become a nomination\, a production needs to be proposed by at least two jury members. With 26 nominations\, Alpha comes on the first place. It is followed by Harmonia Mundi (19) and Naxos (18). \nThe finalists will be known by 12 December. The winners of the prestigious ICMA Awards will be revealed on 18 January 2023. \nThe Award Ceremony and Gala concert will take place at the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw on 21 April 2023\, with the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic conducted by Giancarlo Guerrero.
